In all honestly this teaser falls in line with how they marketed the first Deadpool movie and the direction Deadpool 2 could take once the cameras begin rolling. James Mangold the director of Logan did tease that the movie would still arrive in theaters with some extra fun for those who go see the movie. The film is mastered in 4k but remains a 1080p source meaning that it has no HDR/dolby vision support unlike actual 4k discs.
Moving on to video quality, being released in 2014 this 7 year old film looks amazing on blu-ray. From Stan Lee’s cameo, to little hidden easter eggs. The actors and story were good but couldve been better if it were a longer film. This short made me all sorts of happy for the next installment of the Deadpool story. The video pokes fun at superheroes who get into costume in phonebooths (*cough* Superman) and just how ridiculously slow it takes someone (who isn’t the man of steel) to change clothes in a cramped and dirty booth.
